Alyssa Bowser, a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, began her dance training at Brenda Lee’s Dance studio at the age of three, under the Direction of Brenda herself. Following Brenda Lee’s Dance studio, Alyssa went on to attend the Young Performers Theatre Camp, better known as YPTC and it was here that she found her new home, The Pointe Dance studio. While at The Pointe Alyssa began her career competing in dance and traveling with Straight to The Pointe!, dance company. During her time here, Alyssa graduated from the Philadelphia high school for Creative and Performing Arts, where she majored in dance, under the direction of LaDeva Davis. While at CAPA, Alyssa also attended Dance Creating New Stars summer intensive (DCNS) under the direction of Dara Meredith and Laceda Nelson. Since then Alyssa has been assistant to the director for Next Generation Dance Conservatory, Ali Willingham; The Director of Dance for the Collective Mic Productions, productions company; as well as the Creative Director for Cheltenham School districts Annual Black History Month Celebration. In 2019, became one of the Rehearsal Directors for Straight to The Pointe! Dance Company, the studio from which she graduated. Alyssa hopes to give back to others as her teachers and mentors have always given back to her. She is excited to start this new journey with Philly Movements Dance Company.
Danielle Hayes is the co- founder and artistic director of Philly Movements. Danielle's love for dance began at the tender age of 3 years old at the Nia institute of learning . Danielle began her formal dance training at The Philadelphia School of Dance Arts where she studied Tap and Jazz under the direction of Pat Lourde , Karen Pendergrass , Richard lewis and Danielle Brown. Ms. Danielle is known for her excellent choreography skills in Hip-Hop and Afro Caribbean styles of dance. Danielle has been awarded many choreography awards over the years, and her students have been the recipients of numerous awards as well. Danielle's main emphasis of her studio is not on competition but on instilling a love of dance and giving those interested an opportunity to perform. In the Summer of 2015 Danielle was asked to be a head choreographer for a few of the cast members of the Lifetime TV show Bring It on their Summer Triple Threat Tour. The Tour traveled to 13 different cities and states. Danielle's choreography was seen throughtout the entire show. It allowed Danielle to live on the road for 3 months doing what she loves to do and thats teach and choreograph.

Ms. Darlene and Ms Sharon have been with us since the very beginning .These are the people who make the business side of our studio run efficiently. They are the first voices on the phone and the first staffers you are likely to see when entering our studio. While it can be difficult to catch a teacher between classes, our front office staff is there to answer your questions and to serve you.
Kimberly Muhammad started her dance training when she was seven years old at the Philadelphia School of Dance Arts. She continued her love fore dance throughout middle and high school. While attending Hampton University, she began dancing with Blue Mystique , the half-time dancers for the Hampton University basketball team at that time. Kimberly has enjoyed teaching dance in the Philadelphia area over the past 15 years. With ballet and jazz being her focus, she has been able to touch the lives of young people in various performing arts programs. Recently , she has began to incorporate choreographed ballroom dance performances for children and adults for the past three years

Kamille Innerarity has been the integral part of Philly Movements since the very beginning . Her receptiveness coneys a welcoming message on behalf of the school that has been noticed by many. Kamille's main goal is to ensure the success of PMDC and is committed to ensuring that all daily activities run smoothly and effectively. The values and positive influences that she has instilled in many of the students is monumental . Her untiring efforts coupled with her friendly warm manner makes parents and students feel at home. Kamille is devoted to maintaining PMDC with love and dedication.

Frederick Pratt , is a native of Camden NJ. He began his dance training at the creative and performing arts high school located in Camden. After graduating in 2009, he went on to receive his BFA in Dance with a concentration in ballet from the University of the Arts. Freddy has danced with professional dance companies including Dance Fusion, Grace Dance Theater of Philadelphia inc Dissonance Dance Theatre and Eleone Dance Theatre. Frederick current is a currently a vocal music instructor at his alma mater Creative Arts High. He is also the minister of music for two churches; Zoar United Methodist and Camden Bible Tabernacle. Freddy is also the founder of his own gospel music ministry Devotion. Devotion has worked with recording artist such as Bryan Popin, JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise, and Anthony Brown and Group Theropy.

Ali M. Willingham is a native of Deptford, New Jersey where he attended Creative Arts High as a classical vocal Major. He graduated from the University of the Arts with his BFA in Modern Dance Performance. Ali is currently the Director of the Contemporary Dance Department at String Theory and Adjunct Professor of dance at Temple University. He has attended the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre's Independent Study Program as well as their summer intensive in 2007. Ali was a full scholarship recipient at the Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive in 2008, DCNS Summer Intensive in 2009, and the Dance Theatre of Harlem's Summer Intensive in 2011 where he also won the Modern Dance award and was selected as the first student choreographer of DTH's Summer program. He was also a participant in the IABD Black Dance Conference Liturgical Dance Show in 2010. Ali has had the opportunity to travel and set Liturgical and Modern Dance works on up and coming companies and ensembles. He was a principle dancer with Grace Dance Theatre in Philadelphia and a resident choreographer and teacher for Grace II and their Training Company. He was blessed with the opportunity to be the opening dance act for the Philadelphia Dance Awards 2011. He has studied under Kim Bears, Shawn- Lamere Williams, Zane Booker, Wayne St. David, Jennifer Johnson, Anna- Marie Forsythe, and Joan Myers Brown. He honors Christ, his Mother and Spiritual Father, and all those who have poured into him throughout the years.

Faith Chasten Artistic and lively Dancer with eight years of Dance training performance experience. Multi-talented dancer with strong choreography skill set. Faith began her dance training at Philly Movements Dance Company at the age of 8 where she was trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Modern, and Hip Hop. Faith has also trained at The Pulse National Convention under the direction of Matt Steffanina, Laureann Gibson, Kevin Frey, Theresa Stone, Chris Judd and more. She was also award the Advanced Pulse Protege where she was awarded a year of traveling and training with the pulse and their staff. Faith has collaborated with Head Choreographer on regular performance routines. Taught choreography at different studios in the city and supervised practices with specialized dance groups. She has performed a wide variety of dance routines based in Hip-Hop. Coordinated with costume department for fittings and costume designs for upcoming stage productions and is only 15 years of age. Currently Faith is one of the Assistant Choreographers/Captains to Total Kaoz Krew.

Alyza Martin started her dancing training at 2 years old here at Philly Movements Dance Company. She is trained in all styles including Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. At the ages of 5 Alyza joined our Traveling company where she performed in Regional and National State Competitions. She has performed at Disney World, Carnival Cruise Lines, Wawa Welcome America, Channel 6 ABC Thanksgiving Parade, and more. In 2015 Alyza went on to perform with the Triple Threat Tour in Chicago where she trained and performed with a few of the cast members from the Lifetime TV Show "Bring It". Alyza began her choreography journey in the Spring of 2016 and has been recognized for her award winning pieces Lockdown, Wakanda, and Homecoming. Currently Alyza dances background for the singer Lil Mo & travels back and forth to LA to purse her dreams as becoming a Commercial Dancer.
